Children’s education stopped due to Covid – 19 epidemic situation. Poor children do not participate in online education due to lack of money.
Mrs. Surangi Basnayake, Director(LFRO), Colombo District, inquired into the matter and took action. Together with her friends, she paid for a month’s internet access for 137 poor children.
In addition, she provided school bags, books and other necessities for children in a very difficult area in Anuradhapura.
