Mannar 25.02.2022 A mother in a remote Mannar Village, during the Civil war saw a Mortar coming direct to her leg and she fell on to the ground with heavy bleeding and her one leg completely smashed. She saw her family members dead on the death. That’s what she remembered until she came to sense after her leg operation which lasted a day. She is living alone using the damaged prosthetic limb which she received several years back. She has been donated a quality Prosthetic Limb by us and the Mannar President has undertaken to take her Jaffna to get this fitted properly.

Mannar 12.02.2022 A person who has lost one of his legs while getting intact with a land mine had a damaged prosthetic limb with he managed with great difficulties. Mannar President took action to repair same for him. He is now happy that he could walk properly again with the repaired prosthetic limb.
