නැගෙනහිර කොළඹ මූලික රෝහලේ උද්‍යාන චිකිත්සක ඒකකය ගොඩනැගීමේ පළමු අදියර 2025.06.25දින මනෝ වෛද්‍ය හා මානසික රෝග ප්‍රවර්ධන ඒකකයේ වෛද්‍ය රන්ජන් මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් සිදුවූ අතර ඒ සඳහා කොලොන්නාව  ස්වශක්ති  සංවිධානයේ දරුවන් හා දෙමාපියන් සම්බන්ධ වෙමින් රෝහල් භූමිය පිරිසිදු කිරීම හා  වගාවට සුදුසු වන පරිදි භූමිය සකස් කිරීමේ කටයුතු සිදු කිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මඟ පෙන්වීම හා උපදෙස් ලබාදෙමින් ස්‍රීලංකා මානව හිමිකම් සංවිධානයේ biodiversity national director   සුබෝධා පේමසිරි දායකත්වය සපයන ලදී ආබාධිත දරුවන්ට රෝහල් භූමිය තුළ කාබනික එළවළු හා පලතුරු වගා කිරීමට  අවස්ථාව සලසා දෙමින් ඔවුන් උද්‍යාන  චිකිත්සක ඒකකයේ  කොටස්කරුවන් බවට පත් කිරීමට ගන්නාවූ ප්‍රයත්නයට වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රවර්ධන ඒකකයේ  රන්ජන් මහතා ඇතුළු  කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයට බෙහෙවින්ම තුති පුද කරන අතර ස්ව ශක්ති සංවිධානයේ සිටින  ආබාධිත දරුවන් හා වැඩිහිටියන් වෙනුවෙන් චිකිත්සක ක්‍රමවේදය හඳුන්වාදීමත් පරිසරය සමග ඔවුන්ට ජීවත් වීමට අවස්ථාවක් සලසා දීම සඳහා මේ ගන්නා උත්සාහය බෙහෙවින්ම අගය කරමි . මේ සඳහා  කොලොන්නා ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ  ක්ෂේත්‍ර නිලධාරීන්  සම්බන්ධ වෙමින් දක්වන ලද සහයෝගය අගය කරමි. ස්ව ශක්ති සංවිධානයේ සිටින  දරුවන්ගේ මානසික සංවර්ධනයටද මෙම කටයුත්තට දායක වීම අප ලද ජයග්‍රහණයක් A therapeutic community (TC) is a type of residential treatment program for substance use disorders and other mental health issues. Long-term focus: TCs often provide longer-term treatment, recognizing that recovery is a process that requires time, support, and effort. The goal of a TC is to help individuals develop the skills, support networks, and coping strategies necessary for sustained recovery and reintegration into society.

Child Friendly Space

Ms. G. Naganandhini, President of LFRO, Nallur Division of Jaffna District, organized a project in the interests of Children who have lost their parents and live under the care of guardians, who often face challenges in education, language skills, arts, and physical development. Having understood the  strong need for a safe, caring, and supportive learning space to ensure their holistic growth. Initially she started this on her own expenses and if she could find well wishers and donors, she could extend the capacity of the beneficiaries so that we will have a future of decent, healthy, educated and wealthy communities. යාපනය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ නල්ලූර් කොට්ඨාශයේ LFRO හි සභාපතිනි ජී. නාගන්දිනී මහත්මිය, දෙමාපියන් අහිමි වී භාරකරුවන්ගේ රැකවරණය යටතේ ජීවත් වන, අධ්‍යාපනය, භාෂා කුසලතා, කලා සහ භෞතික සංවර්ධනය යන අංශවල අභියෝගවලට බොහෝ විට මුහුණ දෙන දරුවන්ගේ අවශ්‍යතා සඳහා ව්‍යාපෘතියක් සංවිධානය කළාය. ඔවුන්ගේ පරිපූර්ණ වර්ධනය සහතික කිරීම සඳහා ආරක්ෂිත, සැලකිලිමත් සහ සහායක ඉගෙනුම් අවකාශයක ඇති දැඩි අවශ්‍යතාවය තේරුම් ගෙන ඇත. මුලින් ඇය මෙය ආරම්භ කළේ ඇගේම වියදමින් වන අතර ඇයට සුභ පතන්නන් සහ පරිත්‍යාගශීලීන් සොයා ගත හැකි නම්, යහපත්, සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්න, උගත් සහ ධනවත් ප්‍රජාවන්ගේ අනාගතයක් අපට ලැබෙන පරිදි ප්‍රතිලාභීන්ගේ ධාරිතාවය පුළුල් කළ හැකිය. யாழ்ப்பாண மாவட்டத்தின் நல்லூர் பிரிவின் LFRO இன் தலைவர் திருமதி ஜி. நாகநந்தினி, பெற்றோரை இழந்து பாதுகாவலர்களின் பராமரிப்பில் வாழும் குழந்தைகளின் நலன்களுக்காக ஒரு திட்டத்தை ஏற்பாடு செய்தார், அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் கல்வி, மொழித் திறன்கள், கலைகள் மற்றும் உடல் வளர்ச்சியில் சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர். அவர்களின் முழுமையான வளர்ச்சியை உறுதி செய்வதற்கு பாதுகாப்பான, அக்கறையுள்ள மற்றும் ஆதரவான கற்றல் இடத்தின் வலுவான தேவையைப் புரிந்துகொண்டார். ஆரம்பத்தில் அவர் இதை தனது சொந்த செலவில் தொடங்கினார், மேலும் அவர் நலம் விரும்பிகள் மற்றும் நன்கொடையாளர்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடிந்தால், அவர் பயனாளிகளின் திறனை விரிவுபடுத்த முடியும், இதனால் நாம் ஒழுக்கமான, ஆரோக்கியமான, படித்த மற்றும் பணக்கார சமூகங்களின் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பெறுவோம். 22.02.2025  Kotagala With the assistance of Social Welfare Mandram of Kotagala, members of the Kandana LFRO donated Books and other items to 12 inmates of the Center for disabled children maintained by the Social Welfare Mandram of Kotagala.  This is the initial collaboration between the two NGOs to further their services together.

Hearing Aids to a Small Girl

Kuruwita, Ratnapura 12.06.2022 The Parents of a six year old girl from Kuruwita met our National Director Ms. Nadeeka Kumari and informed her that none of the Schools in the area are giving admission to this Child to attend School as she cannot hear anything. Ms. Nadeeka Kumari spoke to the Principal of the School and assured that this Child would be provided with necessary hearing aid and requested her to admit her to the School. When the Principal agreed, Ms. Nadeeka referred this girl to an ENT Surgeon and was informed that she needs hearing aids for both sides. She coordinated with the Central Provincial Director Eng Walisundera who volunteered somehow to assist this Child. With the presence of the Kandy District President Mr. Ajith Hewawasam, the Deltota Divisional President   Mr. Ullandupitiya &  Ganga Ihala Korale Divisional President Mr.Andagala representing the Lions Club as well made arrangements and donated same to the Child today, which cost Rs.300,000

Assisting a Child Kidney Patient

Kandy 7th May 2022 There was an urgent need for a Toilet for a small child who was suffering from kidney disabilities.  A comfortable Toilet was built for her by our Central Province Secretary Rohitha Wijethilaka. This girl was given a Tin of Nutritious Milk Powder and cash Rs.5,000/- for her travelling expenses.
