Assisting the poor with Cash 19.04.2024 Jaffna Jaffna Region Chairperson Mr. Arulanandan Mohanaeras,  distributed Rs.5,000/- cash to 75 very poor persons of Tellipalai East in the GS area of Thanthaisrvapuram

Kalpitiya Distribution of Dry Rations  28.03.2024 Our Members from Dehiwala, Mr. Ismail, Mr.Abdur and Mr. Shakir while travelling to Puttalam a few months back,  identified poorest of the poor people living in the Grama Sewaka area of Kurinjipiti, in Kalpitiya of he Puttalam District. Food scarcity very badly affected these community and our the said three members waited for an opportunity and 140 packs, each with a value of Rs.11,500/- was distributed to these 140 needy families. Total cost of the dry rations : Rs.1,610,000/- One Million six hundred & ten thousand.

Ja-ela 23.02.2024 Food Distrbution Poya Day being a Special Day to feed the community, the LFRO Western Province Members, with the project Chairperson Mr. Merril Jayawardena, lunch was provided at the Ekala, Sri Dharmodhaya Viharaya.

The Executive Board Members of the Western Province along with the Members of the LFRO Ja-ela distributed food to the patients and staff of the Aniyakanda Hospital in Kandana

Kandy 7th May 2022 Project conducted by our Central Province Secretary Rohitha Wijethilaka. Who selected 12 poorest of the poor families and distributed them Dry Rations including Rice, Dhal, Fish, Sugar, Potatoes, Onion, Flour, Coconut and many more and gave Rs.2,000/- to each of these 12 families.

SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. Dry Rations packs were distributed to 10 mothers from poor families who are finding it difficult to feed their School going children.

July 15,  2021 In addition to the Covid Pandemic at it’s peak, the sudden rain & floods all over the country made the people suffer beyond their expectations. LFRO MEMBERS WERE THERE TO ASSIST THEM.

August 10,  2020  During the height of the Covid 19 Pandemic lock down, three families who were working in the garments factories lost their jobs and were suffering without food for their small children. As their husbands too are not living, their life was miserable for them. We provided each of them with Dry Rations which could last for at least three weeks.
