Health Awareness 24.06.2024 – Embilipitiya An awareness program was organized by LFRO Director Dr. Nadeeka Kumari for the Pregnant Mothers were conducted at the LFRO Good Hearts Center, Embilipitiya with the participation of the Embilipitiya Police Officers, Health Authorities, etc. 80 Beneficiaries and the total cost of project was Rs. 41,500

Awareness on Health & Welbeing 01.06.2024 Karukkumaduwa, Mahakumbukkadawala An awareness program by Dr. Sunil Rajapaksha was conducted for more than 200 persons which included Students, Parents, Elders and Pregnant Mothers on Health and Wellbeing. They were explained in an easy for them to understand, followed by questions and answers.

Seeduwa 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. Those who attended the program was tested for Covid-19, Blood Pressure Checked, Blood Glucose level checked and they were individually explained as how to a Healthy Life Style. They were also given Face Masks.

Seeduwa 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. Diabetes Screening was done for 102 people and it was very successful as, one of the Ladies who was tested for Blood Glucose had very high level and she has never checked and never knew that she is a Diabetes Patient. As her Sugar level was very high, she was referred to a Doctor for necessary treatment.

SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. As care is not taken in the foods consumed due to the easy availability of instant foods & food made with chemicals, Childhood Cancer patients are increasing in Sri Lanka. Therefore we conducted an awareness program on Childhood Cancer and reading materials were distributed to the Children and their parents.

RATNAPURA 11. 04. 2022 Treating to Autism patients by National Director Ms. Nadeeka Kumari. The parents do not want their photos and names displayed in public, and therefore we are unable to submit more photos. There is no cost involved.

21.11.2021 MOH at Edinburgh Estate,  Nuwara-eliya were provided with one Glucometer and 5 Oximeters to be used at their medical clinics. 200 patients were screened for Blood Glucose and advice given to them.

20.11.2021 An awareness program for Children were conducted at the Shanthipura Vidyalaya, Nuwara-eliya and the children were happy as they were taught how to clap their hands, how to keep clean and they were taught the importance of learning. The main subject was Childhood Cancer. They were explained that consuming healthy foods instead of preserved foods would save them from several diseases.
