Those who attended the program was tested for Covid-19, Blood Pressure Checked, Blood Glucose level checked and they were individually explained as how to a Healthy Life Style. EYE SCREENING OF CHILDREN

SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. Basic Eye Screening was done for the School Children and out of the 86 screened, we identified 22 children with small defects while there were two students with complicated eye issues. They were referred to an Ophthalmologist for further detail investigation and necessary follow up.

Diabetes Screening

Seeduwa 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. Diabetes Screening was done for 102 people and it was very successful as, one of the Ladies who was tested for Blood Glucose had very high level and she has never checked and never knew that she is a Diabetes Patient. As her Sugar level was very high, she was referred to a Doctor for necessary treatment.

Donation of a Computer to a School

A completer Computer was donated to the Bandaranayake School. The Delivery Note for the collection of the Computer was handed over to the Principal of the School by Lion Cleopetra.

CATARACT SURGERIES

SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. 18 Elders attended this event as they are unable to see well and while going through their history and checking them, we identified that 5 patients need Cataract surgeries. They were registered and we would send them for the Cataract Surgeries at no cost to them within two weeks, as prior to the surgery, they have to go for some medical tests.

CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS

SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa  on 24th April 2022. As care is not taken in the foods consumed due to the easy availability of instant foods & food made with chemicals, Childhood Cancer patients are increasing in Sri Lanka. Therefore we conducted an awareness program on Childhood Cancer and reading materials were distributed to the Children and their parents.
