A stupa required for the Pitigala Uhanowita Shi Vivekaramaya Temple in the Galle District was newly built and dedicated by President Nihal Jayasinghe of the Galle District at a cost of nearly Rs. 3.8 million. Along with Nihal Jayasinghe, many members of the area who love Buddhism in the area have contributed to this.
