It was a valuable awareness program by Dietician Dr. Gowri of the Ragama Teaching Hospital. While explaining as to what has to be eaten and what to avoid, she also told the gathering that our community consumes double the requirement of Salt and that it could be easily reduced by not adding salt to Rice.
