Organized by: Vavuniya District Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization with the assistance of Vavuniya Kalmadu 2 Vidyalayam. It was a resounding success, exemplifying the remarkable potential of community-driven initiatives in fostering environmental stewardship. The collaborative effort between the Vavuniya District Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the School of Vavuniya Kalmadu 2 Vidhiyalam saw the participation of a diverse and enthusiastic group of attendees, including students, teachers, volunteers, and members of the community…With the aim of cultivating a greener tomorrow, nearly 100 Tabebuia rosea trees were planted during the event. The active involvement of school students was particularly heartening, showcasing their commitment to nurturing nature. Guided by experts, the participants planted each sapling with care and learned about proper planting techniques, underscoring the educational aspect of the project.
