Assistance to a School

Ratnapura  4.02.2025 In celebrating our 77th Independence, the LFRO Ratnapura Team headed by Mr. Palitha Perera, donated Rs.100,000/- cash to the Batugedara Maha Vidyalaya as a contribution towards the purchase of a New Bus to the School. රත්නපුර 4.02.2025 අපගේ 77 වන නිදහස සමරමින් පාලිත පෙරේරා මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් යුත් LFRO රත්නපුර කණ්ඩායම බටුගෙදර මහා විද්‍යාලයට පාසලට නව බස් රථයක් මිලදී ගැනීම සඳහා දායකත්වයක් වශයෙන් රුපියල් 100,000/- ක මුදලක් පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලදී. இரத்தினபுரி 4.02.2025 எமது 77வது சுதந்திரத்தை கொண்டாடும் வகையில், திரு. பாலித பெரேரா தலைமையிலான எல்.எஃப்.ஆர்.ஓ இரத்தினபுரி குழுவினர், பாடசாலைக்கு புதிய பஸ் ஒன்றை கொள்வனவு செய்வதற்கான பங்களிப்பாக பதுகெதர மகா வித்தியாலயத்திற்கு ரூபா 100,000/- பணத்தை நன்கொடையாக வழங்கினர்.

Independence Day Celebrations

LFRO National Director for Biodiversity Ms. Subodha Pemasiri sponsored a tree planting program at a program organized by the temple of the Bhikshu Gilan Vivekaramaya in Meetotamulla  on the day of the 77th independence of Sri Lanka ( 4.02.2025),  to gather all religious communities on the occasion of the Independence Day . Toys were distributed to the Children. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ 77 වැනි නිදහස් දිනයේදී (2025.02.4) මීතොටමුල්ල භික්ෂු ගිලන් විවේකාරාම විහාරස්ථානය විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද නිදහස් දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් සර්ව ආගමික ප්‍රජාවන් ඒකරාශී කිරීම සඳහා සංවිධානය කරන ලද වැඩසටහනකදී LFRO ජාතික ජෛව විවිධත්ව අධ්‍යක්ෂ සුබෝධා පේමසිරි මහත්මිය රුක් රෝපණ වැඩසටහනකට අනුග්‍රහය දක්වන ලදී. ළමයින්ට සෙල්ලම් බඩු ද බෙදා දුන්නා. இலங்கையின் 77வது சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று (4.02.2025) மீதொட்டமுல்ல பிக்ஷு கிலான் விவேகராமய ஆலயத்தினால் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட அனைத்து மத சமூகங்களையும் சுதந்திர தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு ஒன்றிணைக்கும் நிகழ்வில் LFRO தேசிய பல்லுயிரியலுக்கான பணிப்பாளர் திருமதி சுபோதா பேமசிறி மர நடுகை நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு அனுசரணை வழங்கினார். குழந்தைகளுக்கு பொம்மைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

Establishment of a Montessori

Mr. Mohanaraj , Additional Director General of Northern Province of the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization established a Montessori School on the  77th Independence day of Sri Lanka (4.02.2025) at Urmialakthottam, Nelumkulama, Vavuniya at a cost of Rs.380,000. லங்கா அடிப்படை உரிமைகள் அமைப்பின் வடமாகாண மேலதிக பணிப்பாளர் நாயகம் திரு. மோகனராஜ் அவர்கள் இலங்கையின் 77வது சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று (4.02.2025) வவுனியா நெலும்குளம் ஊர்மியளத்தோட்டத்தில் ரூ.380,000 செலவில் மொண்டிசோரி பள்ளியை நிறுவினார். ලංකා මුලික අයිතිවාසිකම් සංවිධානයේ උතුරු පළාත් අතිරේක අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් මෝහානරාජ් මහතා විසින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ 77 වන නිදහස් දිනයේදී (2025.02.4) වවුනියාව නෙළුම්කුලම උර්මිලක්තෝට්ටම් හි රුපියල් 380,000 ක වියදමින් මොන්ටිසෝරි පාසලක් ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.

Biodiversity – Wildlife and Agriculture

Animal damages by the Wild Animals to Agriculture is a big issue in Sri Lanka. Mainly it is the Elephant-Human conflict which has gone to the extreme, and in addition to this, from recently, Monkeys & Peacocks create big damages to the agriculture. LFRO Organized a program to plant Agawa trees to avoid the elephants coming out of the forests, and awareness was done through the distribution of leaflets. This project was done Awareness on the solution for Human – Elephant conflict, Monkey & Peacock issues and distribution of leaflets by with the assistance ofMr. Ramasinghe of the Tabbowa Wildlife Authority, at Tabbowa, Karuwalagaswewa, Pahariya and surrounding villages. LFRO Member Ms. A.Mary Saritha, who is very much interested in projects of Bio-diversity, Climate Change, Prevention of Disasters was the Project Chairperson. Out of the total cost of Rs.128,000, the Project Chairperson Mary Saitha contributed Rs.48,000 for the printing of the leaflets. Total beneficiaries are more than 2,000
