Read More »Cultivating Resilience and Sustainable Practices through Youth Engagement The National Youth Services Council, in collaboration with the 5th National Youth Parliament, launched the “Our Garden – Garden Cultivation Competition” at the Ukuwela Divisional Secretariat to promote sustainable gardening and productive use of time during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. This initiative not only encouraged healthy lifestyles, food security, and community resilience (SDG 2 & 3), but also fostered environmental stewardship and sustainable local practices (SDG 11 & 12). Read More »SEEDUWA 24.04.2022 A joint Multi Service Project organized by the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization and the Lions Clubs of Region 3A, at Bandaranayake School, Seeduwa on 24th April 2022. 2 Pregnant Mothers from very poor families were given their requirements for pre-birth of the child along with nutritious food pack enough for one month. We would be following up with these two pregnant mothers to ensure that they give birth to health babies.
